The model exhibits the concepts of step wells, percolation purification tanks and methods and infill calamity reservoirs.

The step wells in India is an excellent example of water storage and purification system. This system is effective in natural purification of water. The stepped format helps in purfication through percolation method.

The percolation purification system is efective where there is positive pressure in water flow. The tank in the bottom fills first and then water flows through perforated pipes which allows purification without any mechanical system.

The infill calamity reservoirs are very usefull in water storage which can be used during emergencies.
